1 Why do you put the brake master cylinder and booster pump together? Because many cars basically put them together again. The brake master cylinder provides pressure for the entire brake system. When the master cylinder has a problem, the brake will be soft or there will be no brake. The easy problems are pressure relief and valve block. The booster pump obviously helps the brake. If there is a problem with the booster pump, you will feel that the brake is too hard. The general automotive booster pump is vacuum assisted, which is provided by the engine. So when the engine is turned off, the vacuum booster pump has no vacuum, so the brake is hard and cannot be stepped on.
2 Cylinder. The wheel cylinder is a direct participant in controlling the brake. When you step on the brake, the wheel cylinders on the four wheels will squeeze the brake pads. It is the friction between the brake pads and the brake discs that converts kinetic energy into heat energy. Therefore, the brake discs are generally hot. There are four wheels of the wheel cylinder. Generally, if the slave cylinder is broken, there will be oil leakage. If you step on the brake, the pressure will be released, and there will be no braking. This is a common symptom without braking. If there is a problem with a wheel cylinder, if it is the front wheel, there will be a partial brake.
3 Brake pads. Brake pads are generally made of graphite, but now there are also ceramic brake pads. If the brake pads are worn to the limit, there is usually an alarm. Some cars have a sound, and some high-end cars have a warning on the instrument in the car. If the brake pad is thin, it should be replaced in time to avoid pulling the brake disc.
4 Brake disc. Generally, there is no major problem with the brake disc. As long as the quality of the brake pads is good, the brake disc will not be pulled. If the brake disc has a problem, it will generally shake when stepping on the brake. It is generally about 80000 yuan for replacement.
5 ABS pump. Today's cars are basically equipped with ABS pumps, also known as anti lock brake systems, which are automotive safety control systems with the advantages of anti-skid and anti lock. ABS not only has the braking function of the ordinary braking system, but also can prevent the wheels from locking, so that the car can still turn under braking, ensure the stability of the car's braking direction, and prevent side slip and deviation. It is the most advanced braking device with the best braking effect on the car at present. In general, ABS starts when the brake pedal bounces upward when driving in the snow or emergency braking.
6. The brake oil is divided into DOT3, DOT4 and DOT5 (which are basically not used in automobiles). Now, DOT3 and DOT4 are the two most commonly used brake oils. The brake oil is incompressible, so it is used in the hydraulic system of automobiles. Generally, air in the brake oil will soften the brake. If the brake oil turns black, replace it in time to avoid braking problems. It is usually replaced every 40000 km in two years.
