Removal and replacement of Honda Lingpai brake pads: first remove the tire. Secondly, use a jack to pry up the car, and use a bench to cushion it in order to avoid accidents. The brake system can be seen after the tire is removed. Remove the bottom screw with spanners 12 and 18. Remember to protect the blue fixing glue on the screw after removing the screw. Never clean it, because it is the only fixing glue that can lock the screw without rewinding.
Don't remove the old brake pad in a hurry, use a screwdriver to support the brake pump and the brake pad between them and expand them. Because the original brake pad is too thin and the brake clearance is small, if you replace it with a new brake pad, it will definitely not fit in. When the brake pump returns to its position, it can be lifted up, the brake lining can be seen, and the old brake lining can be taken out. Replace the brake pads with new ones. After all the brake pads are installed, install the fixing screws. end.
Precautions for replacing brake pads of Honda Lingpai:
1、. When replacing, replace the brake pads provided by the original spare parts. Only in this way can the braking effect between the brake pads and the brake disc be the best and the wear is the least.
2. The brake wheel cylinder must be jacked back with a special tool when replacing the shoe. Do not use other crowbars to press back hard, which may lead to bending of the brake caliper guide screw and seizure of the brake pad.
3. After replacing the shoe, be sure to step on the brake several times to eliminate the clearance between the shoe and the brake disc, resulting in no brake on the first foot, which is prone to accidents.
4. After the brake shoe is replaced, the best braking effect can be achieved only after the brake shoe is worn in for 200km. The newly replaced shoe must be driven carefully.
