Ordinary brake discs are mostly made of "HT250 grey cast iron", which belongs to "big iron disc". Grey cast iron plate is used for general high-grade luxury cars. Only a few sports cars use soi ceramic brake discs. It can be seen that two materials were used. Huge cost difference; Grey cast iron discs can be used with ceramic brake discs.
High standard disc brake and braking system can make the braking distance of medium and large vehicles as low as 35m. For ordinary people, the power of decelerating G is exaggerated. As the name implies, the ventilated brake disc can be ventilated from the outside and inside, and the air flow can be guided through the brake disc holes to achieve two-way rapid cooling of the brake disc.
The disc brake is exposed to air, and the air flow through the brake disc can absorb its braking. However, if the driving style is more intense and the braking is more frequent, the ordinary brake disc may still fail under high temperatures, and the limit of two-way heat dissipation of the ventilation disc can be improved.
In the case of continuous braking, under the premise of continuous extrusion and efficient friction between the brake pads and brake discs, the high temperature of the automobile system will soon be caused. Therefore, ceramic brake pads can withstand greater pressure and shear force during braking. Ceramic materials dissipate heat quickly.
If the brake system is not used with high intensity, it will rapidly reduce the temperature of the brake system through heat dissipation.
